We support the NO MORE campaign

NO MORE is a new unifying symbol deigned to galvanize greater awareness and action to end domestic violence and sexual assault. The intention of the campaign is to spark conversations among households, friends and co-workers about the realities and effects of violence in our communities. Let’s move this cause higher on the public agenda and close the gap between the violence happening and people being willing to intervene.

Scope of the Problem*:

1 in 3 Women report being a victim of Domestic Violence

1 in 7 Men report being a victim of Domestic Violence

1 in 5 Women report being a victim of Sexual Assault  (women may be more than 3 times likely as men to be a victim of sexual assault)

Despite these numbers, there is basically NO discussion about Domestic Violence taking place. Parents, it is important to talk to your teenagers about healthy relationships and safety in dating.

Increased discussion could lead to Bystanders Taking Action: Almost 64% of Americans age 15 or older say that if we talk more about domestic violence and sexual assault, it would make it easier for them to help someone.
