Oct 1- Oct. 31 – Around town, Purple Ribbons will be hung with supportive info tied to the ribbon.

Oct. 1-31 “Power of the Purse”– an online fundraising campaign with the additional intention of helping our community understand the effects of financial abuse. Why does the victim stay? A question asked often of advocates…please consider the realities of financial control and restriction. Oct. 7 at 6 pmCandlelight Vigil at the Greene Town Center, in the area with the fountains and stage. Free and open to the community. Domestic violence thrives when we are silent; but if we take a stand and work together, we can end domestic violence.

Oct. 26 – Introducing “Purses and Pastries”. We will wrap up “Power of the Purse”:The Financial Abuse and Fundraising Campaign by hosting a luncheon and designer purse raffle.                         Place: It will be at Christ’s Church at 3370 Upper Bellbrook Rd. Sugarcreek Twp. 45305         Time: 11 am- 1 pm.                                                                                                                              *Come hungry and ready for fun with friends, new and old! Current Cuisine will be providing our lunch and pastries!
